Gateway Communications, Inc. of Arizona is a provider of RF location-based solutions (LBS) for fleets, persons and assets using GPS, cellular triangulation and RFID technologies over public and private data networks.
Gateway’s applications have ranged from end-to-end solutions to just managing the wireless portion of your business. This may include GPS-enabled & non-GPS cell/smart phones and vehicle devices that operate over multiple cellular GSM/CDMA carriers in North America. When using RF Identification, Gateway can provide approximate locations of RFID Tags with both fixed and mobile RFID Readers.
Gateway is the OEM of the DigiGate® IP telemetry system. The DigiGate® network was originally developed for the IVDS (Interactive Video & Data Service) band that now services the industry for M2M (Machine-to-Machine) communications in the FCC 216-230MHz spectrum.
For consumers markets, Gateway provides value added solutions for monitoring teen/elder driving behaviors, preventing distractive drivers from texting while driving and mobile security alarms with location for assets like RVs and trailers.

The CellAVL™ application developed by Gateway will allow businesses to monitor employees who use company smart phones. Using a cell phone App and the handset's built-in GPS, owners/managers can monitor their location information in Gateway's web tracking service along with GPS devices that are installed in their company vehicles.

Gateway has incorporated Garmin's Fleet Management (FMI2) in to its web tracking service so dispatchers can manage scheduled jobs using a Garmin's nüvi 205 Personal Navigation Device (PND). This allows the PND to act as a mobile data terminal (MDT) while still proving mapping directions to the driver.
