Our text blocking allows a manager/parent to set rules on how a driver, using a corporate or personal cell-smart phone, is allow to text and talk when a vehicle is moving.

The available restrictions:

• Enable/Disable Texting, Talking or Both
• Control Incoming, Outgoing or Both
• Block All Activities or create an "allow" phone list
• APPs availble for vehicle operated laptops
• Limit overriding of rules
• 911 calls are always allowed

The text blocking product is comprised of three parts: a web site that allows a manager/parent to manage the policies and rules, a cell APP that is downloads to each cell smart phone and a bluetooth device that plugs into a vehicle's OBD2 (OBDII) communications port.  

How-It-Works

A cell APP is downloaded into each cell or smart phone, which listens to a local bluetooth device.  The bluetooth device sends the vehicle's speed to the cell-smart phone APP.  When the cell-smart phone APP determines the vehicle is moving, it applies the policies and rules that were setup through the web site.

Pricing

The bluetooth device for each vehicle is a one-time $90 ea and the annual cell APP licensing subscription is $97 for each cell smart phone.  The text blocking product does not require an additional data service but an annual licensing fee is required.
