Gateway's M2M tracking and reporting service, WebAVL™, is an Internet management application that operates through a web browser to provide a high-level vehicle/asset map, alert and reporting solution. As a 24/7 off-site service, it uses low cost radios and GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) to provide accurate information. WebAVL collects location information and status conditions sent by remote AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) devices through a private or public wireless network.

WebAVL™ works on all computers and browsers platforms since it does not require any O/S specific plug-in or middleware to be downloaded and installed, preventing any harm to personal or corporate computers.  Also, traveling users can use any hotel or library computers that restrict access to web applications requiring such plug-ins.

A user, using a PC with Internet access, simply logs in to WebAVL™ using a secure login account. WebAVL™ utilizes the latest in database and GIS (Geographical Information Systems) technology, which provides users with two key features: real-time & historical displays of vehicle locations on street maps and the ability to generate comprehensive reports: Fleet Summary, Trip, Detail and Input/Geofence activity.

• Manage GPS Devices: user define name, user define input names, odometer, MPG, Speed Dial#, Alert destination email and last update duration.
• Manage Alerts: entering/exiting a geofence location between the hours, excessive acceleration, braking and revving, GPS device failed to report during last update duration.
• Manage Users: reset account usernames/passwords, create GPS device view groups, prohibit specific users to specific GPS devices and global account information.
• System Features: Closest GPS device (address lookup), last update color coding, report by 'texted' street addresses and approximate street intersection.

Web tracking service includes GPRS rates and web access.  All GPS products are sold separately.

Pricing (USD) for locating GPS devices by SMS text messaging services or email accounts:

• $0.99 per device or a minimum billing charge of $4.99 per month, which ever is the largest total.
